GreenDrop takes regulatory compliance seriously. Verification at delivery is a legal requirement, and we handle it with professionalism and efficiency.

What You Need

Have a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID ready when your courier arrives. Accepted forms include:

• State driver's license
• State identification card
• United States passport or passport card
• Military identification

The Verification Process

Your courier will ask to see your ID briefly at the time of delivery. They verify that the name matches the order, the photo matches the person, and the ID is valid. The entire process takes a few seconds. Couriers do not photograph, scan, or record your ID information — it is a visual check only.

Contactless Delivery and Verification

If you selected contactless delivery, the verification process is adapted accordingly. Your courier may ask to see your ID from a comfortable distance or use a brief, minimal-contact approach. The requirement is fulfilled while still respecting your preference for limited interaction.

What If I Forget My ID

If you are unable to present valid identification at delivery, our courier cannot complete the handoff. The order will be returned to our facility, and our concierge team will contact you to arrange a rescheduled delivery. There is no penalty — we understand that these situations arise occasionally.
