GreenDrop upholds all regulatory requirements without exception. Verification at the point of delivery is among them — handled by our couriers with efficiency and professionalism.
What to Have Ready
Present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID when your courier arrives. Accepted documents include:
- State driver's license
- State identification card
- United States passport or passport card
- Military identification card
The Verification Process
Your courier performs a brief visual check — confirming the name, photograph, and validity of your ID against the order. The process takes a matter of seconds. No photograph is taken, no scan is made, and no personal data is recorded. It is a compliance step, not an interrogation.
Why This Step Exists
Cannabis delivery is a regulated activity. Verification ensures that products are received exclusively by adults 21 and older, that the recipient matches the account holder, and that GreenDrop operates within the legal framework that protects clients and couriers alike. We view it as a responsibility we hold on behalf of everyone involved.
Contactless Orders
If you selected contactless delivery, verification is conducted at a respectful distance — your courier may ask to see your ID from several feet away or confirm your presence through a brief exchange before placing the order. The requirement is met while honoring your preference for minimal contact.
If You Cannot Present ID
Without valid identification, our courier cannot complete the handoff. The order returns to our facility and our concierge team will contact you to arrange a rescheduled delivery. There is no penalty — simply reach out and we will make it work.
