What Is Your Tipping Policy?
At GreenDrop, our courier compensation is structured so that tipping remains a genuine expression of appreciation — not an obligation embedded in an underpaid system.
Our Compensation Philosophy
Every GreenDrop courier receives pay that reflects the professionalism and attentiveness they bring to the role. We do not rely on client gratuities to make up a shortfall. This is a deliberate choice that affects how our couriers show up — confident, unhurried, and focused on the handoff rather than the tip.
How to Tip
Cash at the door is the most direct method. There is no expectation around amount — a few dollars, a more generous gesture, or nothing at all are received with equal professionalism. Our couriers do not signal or solicit.
When a Tip Feels Warranted
- Your delivery arrived within the window despite difficult conditions
- Your courier was notably attentive or handled an unusual situation with grace
- You are in one of our extended zones and appreciate the additional distance
- You simply want to acknowledge a job done well
Where Tips Go
Every gratuity goes directly and entirely to the courier who served you. GreenDrop retains no portion. It is a direct acknowledgment between client and courier, and it is received as such.
Consistency Regardless
The level of care you receive from GreenDrop does not vary with tipping history. Every client — regardless of gratuity — receives the same considered service. That is not aspirational language; it is how we operate.
