Can I Add Delivery Instructions?
Every delivery address is unique, and GreenDrop accommodates the specifics. Our delivery instructions field ensures your courier has everything they need for a seamless handoff.
What to Include
- Gate or building codes: If your building or community requires an access code, include it so your courier can reach you without delays.
- Parking guidance: Visitor parking location, loading zone availability, or street parking notes help your courier arrive efficiently.
- Unit or floor details: For apartment or condo deliveries, specify your unit number, floor, and which elevator bank or entrance to use.
- Preferred drop-off point: Front door, side entrance, concierge desk, or any specific location you prefer.
- Contact preferences: "Call upon arrival," "text when nearby," or "ring doorbell" — let us know your preference.
How to Add Instructions
During checkout, you will see a "Delivery Instructions" text field below your address. Enter any relevant details there. These notes are displayed prominently to your courier before they depart, ensuring they arrive prepared. Your instructions are saved to your account for future orders, so you only need to enter them once.
Updating Instructions
Need to change your instructions after placing an order? Contact our concierge team before dispatch and we will update them immediately. If you want to change your saved default instructions for future orders, update them in your account settings.
Complex Deliveries
If your delivery location has particularly complex access requirements — multiple security checkpoints, specific time-restricted access, or other unusual circumstances — consider calling our concierge team directly. They can coordinate with your courier in advance to ensure everything goes smoothly on the first attempt.
