Privacy and comfort are personal. GreenDrop offers a contactless delivery option for clients who prefer a no-interaction handoff.
How Contactless Delivery Works
Select the contactless option during checkout. When your courier arrives, they will place your sealed order at your designated drop-off point — typically your front door, lobby, or another specified location. They will then step back and send you a notification confirming the drop-off. You retrieve your order at your convenience.
Verification Protocol
Regulatory requirements mean that your courier must confirm the presence of an authorized recipient. In contactless mode, this typically means the courier will confirm via text or a brief knock that someone is home before leaving the package. The process is designed to be minimal and respectful of your preference for distance.
Packaging for Contactless
All GreenDrop deliveries are sealed and tamper-evident, but contactless orders receive additional attention to ensure the package can rest safely at your door. Our packaging is discreet — there are no brand markings visible from the exterior, and the contents are not identifiable from the outside.
Best Practices
- Specify a sheltered drop-off point if weather is a concern
- Include detailed instructions so your courier knows exactly where to place the order
- Retrieve your order promptly after receiving the drop-off confirmation
- Ensure your phone is accessible for the courier's arrival notification
When Contactless Is Not Available
In rare cases — such as high-value orders or deliveries to new addresses — our protocols may require a brief in-person verification. If this applies, your courier will notify you in advance so there are no surprises.
