Are Products Lab Tested?
Lab testing is the backbone of product safety and transparency in the cannabis industry. GreenDrop goes beyond minimum requirements to ensure that every product in our collection meets rigorous standards.
What Gets Tested
- Cannabinoid profile: Precise THC, CBD, and minor cannabinoid percentages
- Terpene analysis: Identification and quantification of dominant terpenes
- Pesticide screening: Tests for a comprehensive panel of common and regulated pesticides
- Heavy metals: Screening for lead, mercury, arsenic, and cadmium
- Microbial contaminants: Testing for mold, yeast, bacteria, and other microorganisms
- Residual solvents: Ensuring extraction-based products are free of harmful chemical residues
- Mycotoxins: Screening for toxic compounds produced by certain molds
Who Conducts the Testing
All testing is performed by accredited third-party laboratories that operate independently from our suppliers. This independence ensures objectivity — the lab has no financial incentive to produce favorable results. We work with multiple testing facilities to maintain verification integrity.
Accessing Lab Results
Lab results are published on our product pages. Look for the "Lab Results" or "Certificate of Analysis" link on any product listing. These documents show the full testing panel, results, and the testing laboratory's identification. If you cannot find results for a specific product, contact our concierge team and we will provide them directly.
What Happens When a Product Fails
Products that fail any testing parameter are rejected — full stop. We do not sell products with elevated pesticide levels, microbial contamination, heavy metal presence, or residual solvents regardless of how popular the strain or appealing the price. Failed products are returned to the supplier with detailed feedback.
Beyond Compliance
Many of our testing protocols exceed regulatory minimums. We test for a broader panel of contaminants, require lower detection thresholds, and retest products more frequently than required. This is not about checking boxes — it is about earning and maintaining your trust with every product we carry.
